us at our Eagles Mere B&B for a culinary journey around the world with wine pairings from our wine expert Ken Phillips. Ken is now in the second decade of co-hosting the Eagles Mere Food and Wine Weekend. With over thirty years experience in the wine industry, Ken served as PA's Director, Bureau of Wine and Chief Operating Officer of wine importer Hand Picked Selections. Ken resides in Virginia and is currently enjoying his best job yet working with Wegmans wine division.
We will have an upscale buffet on Friday night featuring several different wines with descriptions and information from Ken. Saturday evening we will all sit down together and enjoy the combination of great food and wine with details on both given before each course. If you love great food and wine you don’t want to miss this.
Birding/Nature Weekends

Come join Kathy Kelchner, experienced naturalist, as she leads you through the local forests and parks, identifying the flora and fauna and creating an experience you won’t soon forget. Come prepared to learn and laugh, and maybe even get your feet wet!!
Beer Tasting Weekend

Join us as we pair great local microbrews with savory cuisine in an environment where you don’t have to drive! You just have to figure out which beer you like the best.
Winery Tours

Come join us for a trip to the local wineries. We’ll pack your lunch and take you there, you enjoy good local wine and come back to the Inn ready for the great five course meal we’ll prepare when you get back. We’ll be visiting the Birdsong, Lopez, Laddsburg and Winterland wineries on our trip around the area.
