I know it has been too long since I have posted (thanks to those who reminded me), but we have been working diligently on some new things for this year.

I’m not sure where to start, but here is some good news: Rumor has it that they will start work on the Toboggan slide this Thursday with hopes that it will be completed by Sunday. This means you could be going down the slide next Friday night.  We’re going to send a newsletter shortly but I figured it would be a nice gesture to notify my 7 loyal blog followers first.

What else…..Our ever-growing beer list has reached over 120 bottles, its got a good bit of variety….AND… a guest posted the Inn on Beer Advocate, you can see it here: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/24256

Also, Oliver is getting big, too big really, and he is only happy if he can chew on my hands for at least an hour every day. Soon he’ll have to learn to find me some rabbits, there is nothing better than a wild game stew in the cold winter months.

We have been making some changes here at the Inn, but I’m not telling what they are, you’ll have to come see.

For those locals coming in for the slide, don’t forget to stop by for a beer and some of our great pub food.

Helpful Hint: Make sure when you go online to make reservations that you are getting The Eagles Mere Inn, the search Engines have a few spots where you can click on Eagles Mere Inn, but its our competition trying to use our good “word of mouth” to snag some guests, just make sure you end up on www.eaglesmereinn.com if you want The Inn for the most fun and great food and beer/wine.
